Dream Wedding Photography at Cockliffe House: Nikki & Steffan's Magical Day

As a Nottinghamshire wedding photographer, I was thrilled to capture every precious moment, from the nervous laughter during bridal preparations to the joyous celebrations that lasted late into the night. (And yes, the fantastic Paul Grundle was there!)
Ten years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding where Nikki was a bridesmaid. We stayed in touch, connecting on Facebook. Nikki often mentioned that when she got married, I would be her wedding photographer. On August 6th, 2023, she reached out to inquire about my availability for their Cockliffe House wedding in 2024. After confirming their date with the venue and registrars, they promptly booked me. It's always an honor when a client chooses me based on a long-standing connection and trust in my wedding photography skills.
The morning of the wedding was filled with laughter and warmth as Nikki and her bridesmaids shared stories during bridal prep. As you'll see in the wedding photos, Nikki was radiant, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Nikki and Steffan desired a mix of natural, documentary-style wedding photography and beautifully posed portraits. The confetti throw after the ceremony was spectacular, and we had ample time for candid shots and group photos before the reception.
You know a wedding's a hit when Paul Grundle Magician is in the house. I watched as he approached a group of guests, a deck of cards in hand, and within moments, they were completely mesmerized.
