Harry Potter Wedding Ashley And Jessica

I’ve photographed many weddings over the last 14 years but never as a Nottingham Wedding Photographer have I never captured a Harry Potter Wedding.

I’ve been so excited for this as all Jessica and Ashley wanted was the perfect Harry Potter themed image for the front cover of their wedding album, that’s all they wanted apart from beautiful images that tell the story of their wedding day.

First of all to great the ice and create some smiles I rocked up with a full bag of McDonalds breakfast for everyone to share among themselves, you have to get the priorities right after all a hangry bride doesn’t go down too well.

Their wedding ceremony was at 2pm at St Helens Church Trowel, I started Jessica’s bridal prep at 11am in ilkeston and would leave for the church at 1:15pm giving me plenty of time to arrive at the church to capture Ashley all nervous as he awaits his beautiful bride.

Jessica was with her parents, bridesmaid and even relatives who’d flown in from Spain, they almost didn’t make it due the adverse weather Spain was hit with when it was flooded, even their cat was in on all the action.

At the church there were many familiar faces, from the team at Buonissima Aperitivo Bar in sandiacre to parents who run the Glory hole just down the road, i’ve known Ashley for many years from when he used to work at Springfield Hall in Sandiacre.

It was such an honour when Ashley called me up and wanted to book me to be his Nottingham Wedding Photographer for his big day, obviously I jumped to the chance, Ashley was so keen to book they’d paid their deposit within under one hour of confirming that their date was available.

I captured their required group photos and confetti tunnel at St Helens Church in Trowel which took around 45 minutes we made our way to The Canal House in Nottingham city centre.

This was where I set up for their absolutely stunning Harry Potter wedding photo, i’ve attached below a small selection of their wedding photos, take a look and I hope you enjoy these as much as I did taking them.
