Kellie And Perry Swancar Farm

Such an honour to have been chosen as the photographer to capture Kellie and Perry’s wedding day at Swancar Farm, the bride and groom were recommended by the venue them selves, they did also see me capturing Lauren and Martyn’s wedding in Nottingham last year as well.

The weather was perfect, we had a lovely overcast day, from bridal prep-1st dance it was all to be captured with the stunning grounds of Swancar farm.

Kellie’s bridal prep was in the lower bard area of Swancar, this really is something else for a bridal prep area and seeing really is believing, we were out the way of everything, they slept over in the lower barn the night of the 13th July.

I arrived in the morning and the atmosphere was electric, Kellie was calm and enjoying her moment with Mum and friends all around her, after I had arrived and introduced myself to everyone I went on my way to start capturing their memories during the preparations.

Their ceremony was at 2:30pm in the ceremony room where family, friends and a very nervous Perry awaited his bride who was to walk down the isle with Terry her Dad.

After their ceremony I headed outside and organised their confetti tunnel in the main courtyard, proceed on the the front of the building for the much treasured family portraits.

I love Swancar farm as the sun is behind the building at this time so none of the guests, Bride or Groom are squinting because of harsh and direct sunlight.

I lt the group photos using the Elinchrom ELB1200 and a 70x70 soft box giving the people in the group photo a lovely catchlight/sparkle within their eyes.
